One of the most memorable trips our family has taken. If you are looking for a place to unplug and reconnect with hospitality that is top notch, Rimrock is your place. Gary, Dede and the entire staff do a first class job. When you arrive the scene is majestic. Cotton wood blows through the air, a cool steady breeze on your face and the sound of a stream that flows through the property will relax even the most uptight of people. All riding levels are accommodated here. Under Gary & the head wrangler’s guidance (Amber in our case) you are assigned a horse that fits your skill level to be your partner for the week. Riding can be tailored to your comfort level, just ask. There is something for everyone. While the schedule came seem a bit regimented upon arrival, I would encourage visitors to go with it. These folks have been doing this for a long time and all the pieces of the schedule work. Cabins are modest but well kept. The only thing I would say to consider for folks traveling with kids under 10 is the all-day trip to Yellowstone. While it is truly an amazing place to visit and the ranch provides your very own tour guide who is very knowledgeable, it’s a long day in the van for small kids.

Rimrock was the perfect combination of activity and relaxation. Everyone who works there is genuinely committed to creating a perfect vacation for each guest. Meals were scrumptious and served with smiles, the horses and wranglers were top notch. We slept with our cabin windows open to the sound of the rushing creek each night. We are not a horse family, and went for a new experience. There is riding for every experience level. We will certainly go back!

It was first time everything: first time in Wyoming, first time horseback riding in mountain. The Rimrock ranch management created truly family atmosphere. The staff was not just courteous, but very attentive to guest needs, anticipating wishes. My son and I intent to come back with friends and family.

Just returned from a family vacation at Rimrock.. All I can say is WOW ! It was the bomb!! The wranglers where always so willing to guide you every step of the way their knowledge was spot on. The food.. GREAT. Dede and Gary could not be more gracious . And the hot tub after a ride..well that does work out any soreness you might have.. This is a do it vacation!! Thanks guys.. Loved it!!

Without a doubt our week at Rimrock Ranck in late June 2012 was the best family vacation we’ve ever had! We picked Rimrock Ranch based on the great reviews we read about the ranch on Trip Advisor. Quite frankly, the reviews did not do the ranch justice. It was much better than what was written about it. Everybody at the ranch, including all of the other guests were incredibly nice. The accomondations were excellent, the food great, the scenery amazing. The activities were endless. Whether you’re 5 years old or 75 years old, this is the place to go. No kidding, you won’t want to leave and you’ll definitely want to go back …
